Here's a collection of photographs
taken on March 20th 2004 at Sunset Beach
in Vancouver, Canada. Almost 40,000 people
joined together to protest the invasion and occupation
of Iraq by American and so-called 'coalition' forces,
as well as addressing violent and war-like activity
which supresses innocent people elsewhere in the world.
Perhaps the most striking observation of this protest
is how many 'normal' every day folks were there in strong
numbers, not just 'radicals' and 'left wingers.
It is time to wake up our friends and neighbors
to the reality of what is happening in the world today.
We the peace -makers, must wage PEACE as passionately as the war-makers make war....
